Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, SECTION 1. CIVIL AND CRIMINAL LIABILITY FOR VIOLATIONS OF FISA AUTHORITIES. (a) Aiding and Abetting.--Section 110 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act of 1978 (50 U.S.C. 1810) is amended by inserting after ``any person who committed such violation'' the following: ``, or who knowingly aided or abetted such violation,''. (b) Use of False Information.--Section 109 of such Act is amended by inserting ``(including through the use of false statements or false material declarations in an application under this Act)'' after ``color of law'' both places it appears. <all>
