following bill; which was referred to the Committee on Foreign Affairs, 
 and in addition to the Committee on the Judiciary, for a period to be 
subsequently determined by the Speaker, in each case for consideration 
  of such provisions as fall within the jurisdiction of the committee 
                               concerned

 To extend authorities to impose sanctions under certain laws relating 
    to Hong Kong, Tibet, and the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region.

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the 
United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. EXTENSION OF AUTHORITIES TO IMPOSE SANCTIONS UNDER CERTAIN 
              LAWS RELATING TO HONG KONG, TIBET, AND THE XINJIANG 
              UYGHUR AUTONOMOUS REGION.

    (a) Hong Kong Human Rights and Democracy Act of 2019.--Section 7(h) 
of the Hong Kong Human Rights and Democracy Act of 2019 (Public Law 
116-76; 22 U.S.C. 5701 note) is amended by striking ``5 years'' and 
inserting ``10 years''.
    (b) An Act To Prohibit the Commercial Export of Covered Munitions 
Items to the Hong Kong Police Force.--Section 3 of the Act entitled 
``An Act to prohibit the commercial export of covered munitions items 
to the Hong Kong Police Force'', approved November 27, 2019 (Public Law 
116-77; 133 Stat. 1173), is amended by striking ``shall expire'' and 
all that follows and inserting ``shall expire on December 31, 2029.''.
    (c) Reciprocal Access to Tibet Act of 2018.--The Reciprocal Access 
to Tibet Act of 2018 (Public Law 115-330; 8 U.S.C. 1182 note) is 
amended--
            (1) in section 4(a), in the matter preceding paragraph (1), 
        by striking ``the following five years'' and inserting ``the 
        following 10 years''; and
            (2) in section 5(c), in the first sentence, by striking 
        ``the following five years'' and inserting ``the following 10 
        years''.
    (d) Uyghur Human Rights Policy Act of 2020.--Section 6(h) of the 
Uyghur Human Rights Policy Act of 2020 (Public Law 116-145; 22 U.S.C. 
6901 note) is amended by striking ``5 years'' and inserting ``10 
years''.
