Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE. This Act may be cited as the ``Taxpayer Receipt Act''. SEC. 2. INFORMATION REGARDING THE FEDERAL BUDGET. The Secretary of the Treasury, or the Secretary's delegate, shall provide, to each individual filing a Federal income tax return for a taxable year, a one-page document which contains, with respect to the most recently completed fiscal year-- (1) total Federal outlays during such year; (2) total Federal revenues collected during such year; (3) the Federal deficit or surplus for such year; and (4) the total Federal debt held by the public. <all>
