Res. 469] The Committee on Rules, having had under consideration House Resolution 469, by a nonrecord vote, report the same to the House with the recommendation that the resolution be adopted. summary of provisions of the resolution The resolution provides that suspensions will be in order at any time on or before the legislative day of Friday, April 14, 2000. The object of any motion to suspend the rules shall be announced from the floor at least one hour prior to its consideration. The rule further provides that the Speaker or his designee will consult with the Minority Leader or his designee on any suspension considered under this resolution.
