Accreditation Program

AGENCY: Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), DOT.

ACTION: Notice of Availability of Proposed AC 00-56.

SUMMARY: This notice announces the availability of AC 00-56, which 
describes a system for the voluntary accreditation of civil aircraft 
parts distributors on the basis of voluntary industry oversight and 
provides information that may be used for developing accreditation 
programs.

EFFECTIVE DATE: September 5, 1996.
