  The office,-of ddustry Advisory Committees forms each Industry Advisory Committee with the approval of the Director or an Industry Division. . .The present organization was authorized by Regulation No. 12 amit&dmftristrative Order 2-7, dated January 17, 1942. The policies affecting? the* use of Committees have clarified by later memoranda and •Administrative Orders.
  The purpose {^Industry Advisory Committees is to advise and make recommendations on problems of war production confronting industry, and to assist a Division in obtaining data on resources and requirements, also keep industries informed of the policies, regulations, and actions of the War Production Board.
